The Central New Hampshire Bicycling Coalition (CNHBC) is holding the Fifth Annual Concord Area Bicycle Swap with the goal of raising thousands of dollars to support bicycle programs and projects in Concord and the surrounding communities.

The Bicycle Swap is a fun event for families and for bicycle riders of all ages and abilities. The sale will be May 18th (9am-6pm) and May 19 (9am-1pm) at S&W Sports. You can donate old bikes today through May 17 (until 7pm) at S&W Sports. Bikes for consignment can only be dropped off May 16 and 17 from 11am-7pm.

If a consigned bike sells at the Swap, the owner will receive 75 percent of the proceeds and 25 percent will be donated to CNHBC. Unsold bikes and/or checks will need to be picked up May 19 between 1-5pm.  CNHBC is not responsible for unsold bikes not picked up.

CNHBC is a non-profit bicycling advocacy organization with a volunteer board of directors comprised of community members. We are working on projects to make bicycling safer, more enjoyable, and more accessible including Bike Valet Parking, Bike Lane Stenciling, the Merrimack River Greenway Trail, Downtown Bike Parking, Bike Education courses, the Recycled Cycles program, Earn-A-Bike program, and many others.

All riders must be licensed by USA Cycling.
A 24-Hour membership is available for $5 per person for 24/12/6 Hours of Pats Peak, Cat 3 and Cat 2 X-Country and Downhill. ALL Cat 1/PRO racers MUST have an annual USA Cycling license. Eastern State Cup Downhill Thrill State and Series Contestants must have annual USAC License.

Sunday, June 9th at Bear Brook State Park, S&W Sports is hosting a road and mountain bike demo.  Trek will have a huge fleet of demo bikes,  including the Domane and Madone road bikes.  Mountain bikes will include both 26 inch and 29′ers like the Lush, Superfly 100, Rumblefish, Stache, Fuel EX, Remedy, Slash, and Session.

Alpine rentals include skis and poles.  Rates are $35/day, $70/weekend and $120/week.

Cross-country rentals are available for both touring and skating.

Rates for touring equipment are $15/day, $30/weekend and $60/week.

Rates for skating equipment are $20/day, $40/weekend and $80/week.
